This three-day hands-on hair styling course focuses on understanding how and why a hairstyle is constructed rather than simply copying a finished look.

Students will develop the foundational techniques required to create polished, secure and long-lasting bridal and event hairstyles.

Created for hairstylists and makeup artists who already understand the foundations of hairstyling and are ready to produce more sophisticated, polished and elevated bridal and event work.

This advanced hairstyling workshop goes beyond simply recreating a look. We'll focus on construction, control, refinement, longevity and efficiency — giving artists the tools to interpret inspiration and adapt techniques to real clients.

Training will include advanced waves, extensions, elevated bridal construction, texture, sophisticated up-styling, secure foundations and luxury finishing.

ENROL IN ADVANCED HAIR

For artists serious about adding or expanding professional hairstyling services, enrol in both Level 1 and Level 2 and progress from foundational technique to advanced bridal artistry.

You'll receive:

You do not need previous bridal hairstyling experience for Level 1.

Level 2 requires foundational hairstyling knowledge or equivalent professional experience.

These aren't large demonstration-style seminars.

Enrollment is intentionally limited to six artists per intensive, allowing time for hands-on practice, individual coaching, troubleshooting and questions.

Students will receive live professional demonstrations followed by hands-on application of the techniques being taught.

Course education also includes professional product and kit recommendations, real-world client considerations and a Certificate of Completion.

Students receive a detailed supply list and preparation information following registration.

Workshops are held at Jenny Valla's Gastown studio:

The studio is conveniently located near Waterfront and Stadium–Chinatown SkyTrain stations, with multiple paid parking options available throughout Gastown and downtown Vancouver.

Detailed arrival and course information will be provided to registered students before the workshop.

Due to the small-group, hands-on nature of Jenny Valla Professional Artist Education workshops, enrolment is intentionally limited and each registration reserves one of a very limited number of spaces.

Registration & Payment
Registration is confirmed once full payment or the applicable registration deposit has been received. Where a payment plan is offered, the $250 registration deposit is non-refundable and is applied toward the total course tuition. Any remaining balance must be paid by the stated payment deadline. If the balance is not received by the due date, the reserved space may be released and the deposit forfeited.

Early Bird Registration
Early Bird pricing requires payment in full at the time of registration. Of the amount paid, $250 is considered the non-refundable registration portion and the remaining amount is subject to the cancellation terms below.

Cancellations 14+ Days Before the Course
Students who cancel at least 14 days before the first scheduled class may receive a refund of tuition paid, less the $250 non-refundable registration portion.

Cancellations Within 14 Days
Cancellations made less than 14 days before the first scheduled class are non-refundable, as it may not be possible to fill the reserved space on short notice.

Transfers
If you are unable to attend, your registration may be transferred to another eligible student with advance written notice. Requests to transfer tuition to a future Jenny Valla workshop may also be considered when made at least 7 days before the course begins and are subject to availability. One transfer is permitted per registration.

Missed Classes
Multi-day intensives are progressive programs, and students are encouraged to attend every scheduled session. Missed classes, late arrivals, early departures or personal scheduling conflicts are not eligible for refunds, credits or partial refunds. Individual make-up classes cannot be guaranteed.

Minimum Enrolment
A minimum of three students is required for each intensive to proceed. If minimum enrollment is not reached and Jenny Valla cancels or postpones the workshop, registered students will be offered the choice of transferring their payment to the rescheduled date or receiving a full refund of workshop fees paid.

Workshop Cancellation or Rescheduling
In the unlikely event that Jenny Valla must cancel an entire workshop, students will be offered a rescheduled date or a full refund of workshop fees paid. If an individual session within a multi-day intensive must be rescheduled, a replacement class date will be provided.

Jenny Valla is not responsible for additional expenses associated with attending a workshop, including transportation, parking, accommodations, supplies or lost income.

By registering for a Jenny Valla Professional Artist Education workshop, you acknowledge and agree to the registration, payment, attendance and cancellation policies outlined above.
